Nashville’s New Year’s Eve Line Up and Schedule

In 2023, Big 7 Travel named Nashville as one of the 50 best places to celebrate New Year’s Eve in the WORLD and we have to agree. With free live entertainment from the biggest names in Country Music, incredible fireworks, and so much more, it’s one of the best parties around, and you’re invited!

In addition to award-winning headliners like Keith Urban and Kayne Brown, the Bash has a full lineup of entertainment that kicks off as soon as the gates open at 5 PM.

Get the party started with DJ DU at 5:30, followed by opening statements from Mayor Freddie O’Connell. At 7, the CBS live broadcast begins with nonstop music until 11:55, when the crowd gets ready for the countdown.

After the music note drops, enjoy a 90-second fireworks show complete with confetti and pyrotechnics, all set against the stunning Nashville skyline. Surrounded by thousands of your closest friends, it’s one of the most incredible ways to ring in the New Year you’ll ever experience.

Food and Fun at Nashville’s New Year’s Eve Celebration

There’s no need to fill up before you arrive; Nashville’s Big Bash features the best of the best in the food truck scene. Find the main cluster of food vendors in State Lots 4 and 8. Hot dog vendors will be set up along 6th and 7th avenues, and drink vendors can be found throughout the grounds, offering everything from beer and cocktails to nonalcoholic options.

New this year, attendees can visit a dedicated sober space perfect for families and allies of those in recovery. Additionally, Sensory Bags from KultureCity will be available for anyone in need. Items included are noise-canceling headphones, strobe-reduction sunglasses, fidget tools, and other helpful products.

Getting to Nashville’s Big Bash

The easiest way to get to Nashville’s New Year’s Eve celebration is to catch an Uber or Lyft. With designated pick-up and drop-off locations along James Robertson Parkway and Rosa L. Parks Blvd, you’ll be feet away from entrance points. Jack Daniels is even offering $10 off an Uber ride with this QR code.

The city also has a number of scooter and bike rental options with designated corral locations at the event. And WeGo Public Transit will operate a shuttle service between Broadway and Bicentennial Mall.

Know Before You Go Rules for Nashville’s Big Bash

Pay attention to the weather before New Year’s Eve. The park is grassy and can become very muddy if it’s recently rained. Wearing close-toed, comfortable shoes is highly recommended.

Clear bags no larger than 12” x 12” x 6” are permitted, as are non-transparent wallets and cases no larger than 4.5” x 6.5”. Cameras are also allowed so you can document all the fun.
