Centennial Park
Centennial Park is one of Nashville’s most beloved urban spaces, offering 132 acres of green landscapes, walking paths, and cultural landmarks. At the heart of the park stands a full-scale replica of the Parthenon, a nod to Nashville’s nickname, “The Athens of the South.” Inside, the Parthenon houses an art museum featuring rotating exhibits and permanent collections, as well as a stunning 42-foot statue of Athena, gilded in gold leaf, making it a must-see attraction.
The park is also a hub for community events and festivals throughout the year. Popular gatherings include the Nashville Earth Day Festival, Musician’s Corner, Shakespeare in the Park, and the Tennessee Craft Fair, celebrating local artisans and performers. With its blend of history, art, and lively events, Centennial Park is a dynamic destination for both locals and visitors.
